The Story

Quantity/Pack: 3 packages (1.75 Ounces each)
Seasonality: Mar - Oct
Origin: Holland, Mexico, Netherlands, Spain

Touted as the hottest pepper in the world by the Guinness Book of Records, the Reaper pepper packs a flavor bite that should be taken very serious and in small quantities.

Measuring as high as 2.2 million Scoville units, this pepper is a cross between a Pakistani Naga and a Red Habanero. For perspective, the Reaper pepper is between 175 to 880 times hotter than Jalapeno pepper!

Bright red with an oval shape and naturally wrinkled skin, the variety also has an aptly named and clearly defined “scorpion’s tail” at the blossom end of the pepper.

Handle all hot peppers with gloved hands, but especially this one! For those who love a little heat in their food, there is nothing “little” about the heat in this pepper so use with moderation.
