It is 40% sweeter than sugar, so you will use less and consume fewer calories. Blue Agave is different from other agave syrups which are derived from wild agave; it has a milder but positive effect on blood sugar levels. Use as a fruit topping for cut fruits, pancake syrup or for anything you need some added sweetness that is high in flavor but low on the Glycemic Index.
