Oro Blancos are a Pummelo-Marsh Grapefruit hybrid. They are covered in a thick, easy-to-peel rind that ranges in color from green to yellowish and contains white flesh. Oro blanco’s are juicy; the flesh is sweet to sweet-tart in flavor and can be enjoyed like a grapefruit.

Oro Blancos from Melissa’s are hand-selected for excellent quality. Choose fruit that is blemish-free and richly colored. It should be heavy for its size and fragrant. They are usually sold ripe and ready to eat. Store at room temperature up to one week or two weeks in the refrigerator.
