Piloncillo is a cone-shaped sweetener widely used in Mexican and Latin American cooking. Valued for its deep caramel flavor and subtle molasses notes, it has long been a pantry staple for both sweet and savory recipes.

Melissa’s Piloncillo brings that rich, rounded sweetness to everyday cooking. The solid cone can be grated, chopped, or dissolved into hot liquids, making it easy to incorporate into café de olla, hot chocolate, ponche, champurrado, and atole. It also adds depth to marinades, moles, braised meats, beans, baked goods, syrups, and custard-based desserts like flan and arroz con leche.

One cone is equivalent to ¾ cups of packed brown sugar.

To maintain quality, store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. 

Ingredients: Granulated sugar, refiners syrup, water, avocado oil.
